Part magazine, part spectacle; The Living Magazine brings together a group of writers, storytellers, artists, musicians and designers to make a magazine come to life. Our events offer an immersive and sensory experience combination.
Uprooted
Our very first live magazine issue will focus on stories of tracing our roots, in order to understand where we come from, and how that informs the story of who we are today as a country and as storytellers. The show is proud to be presented as part of the 2023 International Live Journalism Festival.
Issue 1 features performances from Adrian Ma, Aparita Bhandari, Dylan Freeman-Grist, Adam Chen, John Endo Greenaway, and Rosemary Georgeson.

We would like to do our best to make The Living Magazine available to as wide of an audience as possible. If you would like to attend but are unable to cover ticketing fees, please email us at hello@talkmedia.ca.
Doors for shows at 918 Bathurst will open exclusively for those with accessibility needs between 6:30-7:00 p.m. Unfortunately the venue itself is not wheelchair accessible.
